about
Design is a funny word. Some people think design means how it looks. But of course, if you dig deeper, it’s really how it works. – Steve Jobs
About
I was in SF at the beginning of the first DotCom boom and rode that wave as a designer/art director, leading teams for several prominent creative agencies. With nearly 25 years of interactive and visual design experience under my belt, I’ve built successful companies and services from scratch – from the first seedlings of an idea all the way to final launch – touching every aspect of the process along the way. After the DotCom bust, I started a boutique design firm with offices in NYC and Santa Monica – ultimately launching clickbooq – an online portfolio website platform used by thousands of creative professionals today.
I’ve worked across all realms of Design: from Branding and Identity Systems to User Experience and Interface Design. I've since added to my design roots with a highly technical skillset in code. Combining both disciplines, I have the unique insight to oversee a product's evolution from initial concept to final deployment across any device or media.
With the approach and mentality of a perfectionist – no detail in the process is too small or overlooked. I like to be involved with every step of the flow – with eyes on the bigger picture – and have the experience and vision to make things happen.
